How do you make an offer? What happens at the closing? What fees are included in “closing costs”? If you’re a first-time buyer, you’ll have lots of questions. How to Get the Lion’s Share of Service
As a buyer, you have two options when choosing an agent. You can use a “Buyers Agent” who will be your sales representative throughout the process. The Buyers Agent is fully committed to your needs, versus the seller. He or she will protect your best interests and negotiate on your behalf to get you the best possible deal. The second option is to work directly with the Listing Agent. If you decide to work with the Listing Agent, keep in mind that they are representing the seller. The Listing Agent will provide you with honest information, but is not expected to take care of your interests.

- Search, using all available resources, to locate the home that will best meet your needs
- Advise you regarding the advantages and disadvantages of purchasing homes that you view
- Assist you in estimating the market value of homes that are of interest to you
- Prepare offers and counteroffers on your behalf and in your interest
- Negotiate the best possible price and terms for you*
